golf: The year around warm climate and the natural scenic beauty of Phuket make
it a natural for developing championship golf courses. There are three courses
on Phuket available for visitors to play. All of the courses on Phuket are old
tin mine sites that have been transformed into beautiful and challenging golf
courses. The courses offer rental clubs, shoes, and carts.
For
those desiring to fine tune their shot or to just smack a few golf balls around
the Phuket Driving Range is located on the main road from Patong to Phuket Town
just across the road from the Phuket Country Club. Open from 8 AM to 10PM a bucket
of 50 golf balls is 50 baht and each rental club costs 35 baht. See some
